This, is the time of the year...
I'm celebrating Thanksgiving today (because I worked yesterday) & when I opened my tax bill, I just seethe at how much those bastards soak me.
I think back to how Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple & I smile thinking how much I would like to be in charge & what I would do. I would slice so much wasted shit it would make your head swim. It is a testament towards the tolerance & good nature of the majority of our citizens, that they continue to put up with this kind of crap.
I don't do the Black Friday insanity. Oh, I have in the past. I waited for hours in line, as an act of love, for my wife, because she asked me to do it. So much for a return on that investment.
Hey, I'm not bitter.
I'm drinking a cold one, I'm off of work & I wrote my little check for the tax bill. Doing laundry, so I'll have nice clean sheets to crash on later. Life is good.
Don't think that I haven't thought about taking a dump & putting it in my return envelope to send to the County for the tax bill. That would be cool only if I could see the expression on the face of the individual who opened it.
